And so...

I work, I raise my kid, sometimes I date, mostly I’m single (for 6 years or so). My New Year’s resolution? I want to go on a date every week for 2013.

But I need a little help with the details. What constitutes a date exactly? And how do I go about meeting 52 guys (or fewer, I think I can have some repeats)?

Thoughts? Concerns? Suggestions? Message me or post in the comments, please.

Who’s in?

A date should be the standard...drinks, lunch or dinner. Idk if a park date would qualify since you are only there about 15 minutes...well, maybe that is speed dating, lol. And definitely repeats should be allowed, that would be really hard to come up with a new guy every week plus what if you end up liking one?? Then you would def want to see him again :)

52 weeks starts tonight. A week will be Saturday to Friday. I can ask guys out, and a meeting with an old friend counts if it "feels" like a date.

Ok so technically the first week was short, and I was supposed to have a date on Friday night, but he bailed so I drove to Dallas. Week one began on Saturday the 5th, the first FULL week of the year. :)

Dating is a form of courtship consisting of social activities done by two people with the aim of each assessing the other's suitability as a partner in an intimate relationship or as a spouse. It usually refers to the act of meeting and engaging in some mutually agreed upon social activity in public, together, as a couple.
